Tolpuddle Walk

This will be an interesting walk around the village that saw the very start of the Trade Union movement where 6 farmers from Dorset, later called The Tolpuddle Martyrs, from the village of Tolpuddle in Dorset, England, were convicted of swearing a secret oath as members of the Friendly Society of Agricultural Labourers in 1834.

The walk will start and finish at the Martyrs Inn where a meal has been booked.
